THE MYSFITS

In the small town of Gleneagles, a brother and sister try to conform. Despite their mother and stepfathers’ incessant control and competing for social status. The family masks secrets, abuse, and pain. During the trials of typical adolescence, the siblings begin to manifest other worldly abilities, creating a morality versus mortality mindset. 

 Rain, the older sister, haunted by her past is plagued by sounds. She channels the physical afflictions and sensory overload through sound. Singing music brings her solace, while unknowingly making her a siren.  Rain defies her parents auditioning for the music conservatory at King Charles Academy, winning a coveted seat. 

Maxidus, her 10-year-old brother, is forced to undergo psychological testing, after an outburst of rage, proving him to be a child prodigy. Max unlocks limitless learning potential and helps Rain to understand her gifts after discovering they are not human. 

Rain and Max fight a constant internal battle causing Maxidus to reach out for answers, guided to the Akashic library, revealing truths.

A mysterious gift from their biological father forces them to face their true selves. An ethereal record keeper leads them to the truth of their origins and the fate of the universe.

Cementing a dramatic chain of events that will change them both forever. They will fight for the light, For the darkness has come calling.
